Applications are invited by Pakistan Railways Headquarters office Lahore for appointment/ engagement of retired Supervisory staff of Mechanical Carriage & Wagon Department on contract basis for a period of one year from suitable candidates having retired on superannuation i.e. 60 years as posts mentioned against each subject to physical fitness.

Limit:-
Maximum age limit shall be 62 years.

Terms and Conditions for contract appointment

  1. Only those candidates who have worked on above categories will be eligible on contract appointment.
  2. The selected candidates will draw their salary BS-06, BS-09, BS-12 & BS-14 according to their last pay drawn along with usual allowances, admissible under the contract appointment rules. However, they will not be entitled for any kind of distributed towards gratuity and pension.
  3. Period of contract one year should be extendable further for one year if required by Pakistan Railways.
  4. The competent authority has the right to reject any application for contract appointment without assigning any reason.
  5. Number of posts can be changed without assigning any reason.
  6. Selected candidates will be required to pass Medical fitness Examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital, only.
  7. Those who retire compulsory removed, dismissed or retired on medical grounds will not be eligible for appointment.
  8. Call letter will only be issued to the candidates eligible for contract appointment.
  9. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates called for interview and medical examination.
  10. The selected persons will be posted anywhere in the entire Railway System.

    Documents Required:-
    Application must be accompanied by the attested photocopies of the
    following necessary certificates and testimonials:-
    a. All educational certificates
    b. National Identity Card (computerized)
    c. Railway Retired Identity Card/Experience Certificate.
    d. Photocopy of PPO
    e. Photocopy of LPC
    f. Service Certificate
    g. Three fresh passport size photographs
    h. Three postal envelops with RAD card and complete address, cell no. written thereon also be sent (linked) with applications.
    i. Experience certificate of renowned organization

    Submission of Application:-
    Typed applications with complete bio-data thereon will be acceptable.
    Last date for submission of application at Chief Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways, Headquarters office, Lahore is 28.10.2024.
